Leza Cullens

Leza Cullen is a Melbourne based artist. Leza’s decorative and detailed paintings are known for their bright and whimsical imaginings – combining traditional painting techniques with a contemporary design and an illustrative style influenced by her study of Studio Textile Design (RMIT 2005).

Colour is a critical element in Leza’s art practice. Leza’s work is often unashamedly floral, forever inspired by the colours and textures of her surroundings, as objects playfully dance within the window of an unreal world where pattern and colour collide and lush plants and flowers offer a new world from which the viewer is invited to stay and enjoy a cup of tea in a somewhat subversive interior!
